30 under 30

Each year local business magazines publish a 30 under 30 list. These lists contain images and stories of people who have great potential. They are young, smart, and ready to get the world by the tail. And yet, most have not done anything yet. Celebration of the what could be is a bit pre-mature. I’d love to celebrate the future as though it was already written but it is not. Instead, I’m including two articles below that are closer to what I’d call the 90 over 90. These articles include a group of people who have done and continue to do great things in their 70’s, 80’s and 90’s. Several of them did not even “make it” until much later in life.

  1. Creative Until You Die
  2. Works in Progress

I find great solace in their careers. Their success, their stories, their mistakes and failures. Their grind is inspiring. I’m 34. In 56 years I want to make the 90 over 90 list.

Respect the Patriots.
