Choose your attitude, choose your success

Some people are more talented than others. Some are more educationally privileged than others. But we all have the capacity to be great. Greatness comes with recognizing that your potential is limited only by how you choose, how you use your freedom, how resolute you are, in short, by your attitude. And we are all free to choose our attitude.

-Peter Koestenbaum

I don’t always get my attitude right. My sleep, my diet, the weather, my morning workout, the last human interaction I had, the latitude and longitude of where I am at that moment, and of course, an infinite number of other variables affect my attitude. Yet, each moment of each day I get to pick my attitude. Sometimes I need a deep breath, or three, or 100 before I can get it under my own control, other times it comes naturally. Whatever the final outcome, my ability to control myself is key to my success at home, at work, in life.
